NOVEMBER UPDATE: OH, NO! I BROKE MENU, PLEASE! 🔥
It happens to the best of us. In trying to make Menu, please! more secure and ready for the future, I managed to completely break the Apple ID login for more than 75% of my users.
However, I’ve managed to fix most of the issues and even added some new features to make the app experience better than before!
TL;DR:
- 💬 Discord Community: The “Menu, please!” Discord community is live, allowing for much faster communication and sharing of ideas. Join today!
- 🤖 Improved Descriptions: The dish descriptions and the information relevant to ordering each item are now separated, ensuring you don’t miss any of the small print on the menu.
- 🛒 Faster Ordering: The “Order Now!” button finally does what it says—one click to the order screen.
- ⚡️ Gemini 3: I’ve been testing Gemini 3 and it looks amazing!
- 🍣 More Sushi: I really didn’t like the spinner while the page was loading, so now there’s a spinning sushi!
… and that’s not all!
MENU, PLEASE! DISCORD COMMUNITY IS LIVE! 💬
The biggest challenge in quickly learning how you use Menu, please!—and how to make it better—is getting in touch with you. The Apple ID failure was a big learning moment for me regarding how to make communicating with the community easier.
I’ve created a Discord Community where you can chat with me directly, submit support issues, and see what I’m working on. You can even join the “Building Menu, please!” voice chat while I’m coding.

NEW FEATURES 📦
I’ve been a bit busy this past month and will be starting a new job on December 1st. However, I still managed to add small features and improvements that should make the experience a lot better.
ℹ️ Separated Descriptions and Information Previously, having the food description and ordering information mixed together was a bit of a mess. Now, if the menu includes special ordering information like availability, options, etc., you will see it under the “Good to know…” section.
This makes the descriptions and information more detailed and easier to read.
🛒 One-Click Ordering In the past, when you added an item to the order, a button appeared prompting you to scroll to the end of the menu and click “Order now.” I’ve removed this unnecessary step, so ordering is now just one click away. Fast and easy!
📱 Quality-of-Life Improvements Here are some other smaller or less visible tweaks:
- Better Deleting: sometimes deleting menus caused an error. This shouldn’t happen anymore, making deleting old menus more reliable.
- More Secure: I added additional security to ensure only you can access your menus unless you are actively sharing them.
SEE YOU IN THE MENU, PLEASE! DISCORD 🫸🫷 Your feedback is our most important ingredient in making Menu, please! the tastiest menu translator out there. Join the community and become part of the team!
Thank you for your support and feedback!
